Dr Marianne Sensier

Career

Marianne obtained both of her degrees (BA in Economics with Econometrics and PhD) from the University of Sheffield. She joined the staff at Manchester in November 1997 and has worked on a number of research projects and held a Hallsworth Fellow position at the Centre for Growth and Business Cycle Research. Marianne works for Professor Fiona Devine at the Alliance Manchester Business School and has written blogs for Policy@Manchester. Her research areas include: regional business cycles, inequalities and economic resilience. Marianne is an Associate Member of the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research, AMBS.
