Professor Marcela Miozzo

Career

Marcela specialises in research at the intersection of the fields of innovation studies, firm strategy, and production systems. Her current research interests are on the growth, internationalisation and collaboration for innovation of both service firms and science-based firms; and on the relation between skills, capabilities and innovation in digital industries.
She has published extensively in leading refereed journals such as British Journal of Management, Research Policy, and Organisation Studies. Marcela has broad experience in international research projects funded by research councils (e.g., British Academy, Economic and Social Research Council, Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council), government agencies and international organisations (e.g., European Commission).
